Download Happiness Foundation (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and customer-friendly process for handling refunds and returns. This policy applies to all products, services, courses, and event registrations purchased through our official platforms.
1. Scope of Policy
This Refund and Returns Policy covers:
Physical products purchased via the Store Portal (store.downloadhappiness.in)
Digital products such as e-books, PDFs, audio/video downloads
Online and offline courses via the Courses Portal (courses.downloadhappiness.in)
Event registrations through the Happiness House Event Portal (events.downloadhappiness.in)
Donations made through the Donation Portal (donate.downloadhappiness.in)
Any other services or offerings purchased directly from Download Happiness Foundation.
2. General Principles
Refunds and returns are handled in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws in India and, where applicable, international regulations.
All refund requests must be submitted through our official communication channels (email: info@downloadhappiness.org).
Certain items and services are non-refundable as outlined in Section 5.
3. Physical Product Returns
A. Eligibility
You may request a return within 7 days of receiving the product if:
The product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
The product is unused, in its original packaging, and includes all tags, manuals, and accessories.
B. Process
Contact our customer support within 7 days of delivery.
Provide order details, photos/videos showing the defect or issue.
Once approved, ship the item back to our designated return address.
After inspection, a replacement or refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
C. Return Shipping
If the return is due to our error (defective/wrong product), we will cover the return shipping costs.
For other eligible returns, the customer is responsible for shipping charges.
4. Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products (e-books, PDFs, audio, video, etc.), all sales are final and non-refundable once the product has been downloaded or accessed.
If you face technical issues preventing you from accessing the digital product, contact our support team for assistance. We may offer replacement access or an alternative solution.
5. Courses & Consultations
A. Online/Offline Courses
Refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the course start date.
No refunds will be issued once a course has started or digital materials have been accessed.
If a course is canceled by us, a full refund will be issued or an alternative course will be offered.
B. 1-on-1 Consultations
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.
Missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
6. Event Registrations
Refund requests must be made at least 7 days prior to the event date.
For cancellations made within 7 days, a 50% refund may be granted at our discretion.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows or cancellations made on the day of the event.
If an event is canceled by us, attendees will receive a full refund or may transfer their registration to another event.
7. Donations
Donations made through the Donation Portal are generally non-refundable.
If a donation was made in error or due to technical issues, please contact us within 48 hours for review.
8. Processing Timelines
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days from the date of approval.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method whenever possible.
9. Non-Refundable/Non-Returnable Items & Services
The following are not eligible for refunds or returns:
Gift cards and vouchers
Digital downloads once accessed
Personalized or custom-made products
Donations (except in error cases as mentioned above)
Partially used courses or services
